Private Raymond Theodore

Pvt. Raymond R. Theodore, 27, was killed in action November 9, 1944, somewhere in Lorraine, France. He was inducted into the Army on March 29, 1944 and arrived overseas on September 11, 1944. He served with the 320th Infantry Regiment, 35th Division during the Lorraine Campaign battling entrenched German forces. He was survived by his wife and daughter, Raymonda Jean “Rae,” who had just turned 2 at the time of his death. He is buried at Valley Memorial Park.
